Please review the following information to ensure you’re ready to register for 2020 camp sessions. For additional detail about our policies and/or a copy to save, check out this pdf.

Registration for 2020 camps will open February 15th at 8am. In order to simplify our already busy summer, all 2020 registration will be completed on our website, payment must be made via major credit card, and full payment ($375) is required to reserve each spot. Enrollment will be first-come, first-serve ... so please mark your calendars if you're interested!

Laughing Coyote Project offers summer camps for young people ages 8 to 17. The youth skills camps (two sessions) will be available for ages 8-12. The teen advanced skills camp (one session) is availabe for ages 13-17. Campers must turn the minimum age of a program before the program begins. For those of you with children under 8 years of age, our friend Liz Kriso will be running her popular camp at Fire Willow Farm. Email her at [email protected] for more information.

If you cancel or leave a program for any reason:

1) 15 or more days prior to the start date, you are entitled to a full refund, minus a $75 registration fee.
2) Between 8 and 14 days prior to the start date, Laughing Coyote Project will retain 50 percent of the tuition.
3) Fewer than 8 days prior to the start date, or once the camp has begun, there will be no refunds.

Although we rarely need to do so, we reserve the right to cancel a course or change a course duration, tuition or location. We will deny admission to anyone we believe to be unable to meet the safety demands of our courses. We will expel any student who exhibits behavior that is unsafe or disrupts from the educational mission of a course. If a student is expelled, there will be no refund.

All camps are hosted at Fire Willow Farm, 10152 N. 65th Street, Longmont, CO 80503. Most visitors will use one of the following routes:

From Boulder: Head north on HWY 36 until you reach Nelson Rd. Take a right onto Nelson Road and drive east for several miles. You will see N65th Street on your left side. Take a left onto N65th. The new farm is the first farm you will see on the right hand side at the top of the hill. Please look for parking signs and park where we indicate.

From Longmont: Take Nelson Road heading west. Pass a large lake and look for N65th on the right side. Take a right and the new farm is the first farm you will see on the right hand side at the top of the hill. Please look for parking signs and park where we indicate.

We understand that in our modern world cell phones are very useful and many students have one that they carry with them at all times. At Laughing Coyote we ask that they do not bring them at all. They have proven to be very distracting to the entire group, especially when one rings during nature awareness activities or story telling. We have a landline - 303-325-5824 - please feel free to call it and leave a message if you need to contact a camper.

For emergencies during the day or concerns regarding your child, please contact Gelsey or Neal (co-founders and head instructors) at 303-325-5824 (this is a landline, please do not text) or email: [email protected].

For any program-specific questions and/or general questions, please contact Marni Wheaton (program coordinator) via email: [email protected].
