Dominica 2027 Expedition

Come join us for a two week adventure to the Caribbean island of Dominica. Explore thick jungles, rivers, waterfalls, connect with the local culture and dive deep into a new way of seeing the world. At our base camp, we will work on skills relevant to the tropical environment, and prepare for our trek.

The heart of this expedition is traveling along the Waitukubuli Trail, the longest trail in the Caribbean running the whole length of the island. In addition to hiking, we will hunt and forage our way along, sleeping in simple shelters and cooking on the fire.

A key piece of learning about the island will be connecting to the ocean, using freediving to find our way in the water. Participants will learn freediving safety and breathing techniques to unlock the watery world.

This is an exploratory expedition. Be prepared for the unexpected, to overcome discomfort, but along the way to forge a tribe, to support fellow travelers through story, song and laughter.
