Description: A knap-in is a community event where experienced “knappers” and novices get together to break rock, learn and share the ancient skills of making stone tools. Hosted by Doug Dahl, local flintknapper. This is an informal gathering, come out for the day. Shade, water and bathrooms will be provided, camping on site is available. Attendees should bring flintknapping tools and knapping stone, some materials will be provided for beginners.
