Self Bow Class
There are very few skills as exciting in the world of primitive skills as the construction of an all wood self-bow. Students attending this five day workshop will build their own self bow and learn everything from discussion of bow wood properties to tools, and bow making techniques. A modern bowstring will be made for the bow, and various finishes will be covered, each student electing the finish for their bow. At the end of this class each student will have completed a bow from a single piece of wood. Graduation commences with the first arrow shot. Students should be warned that very few stop after making one bow.
