PRIMITIVE FIRE MAKING AND BOW DRILL KITS

Laughing Coyote Project is excited to present the first in our series of skills weekends. Throughout the following seasons we will be offering workshops exploring various traditional and primitive skills. This is an opportunity for teenagers and adults to intensively study a specific art. We hope you can join us!

When: Sunday November 8th

Time: 9am-3pm

Where: Laughing Coyote Project, Windrose Farm

9760 Isabelle Rd. Lafayette, CO 80026

What: Primitive fire making.

Each student will:

Make a bow drill kit from scratch

Practice tipi fire building

The goal is to blow a tinder bundle in to flame.

Who: Very motivated students and adults ages 13 and up.

***Must be adept and comfortable using a knife.***

Cost: Sliding scale $35-$50. Please offer what you can afford.
